Day 01 Delhi
Fly from your country to New Delhi, you will be greeted &
assisted upon arrival. Transfer to Hotel for overnight stay. Depending
upon your flight timings you will have time for leisure
activities
and acclimatization.
Day 02. New & Old Delhi
After an early breakfast, we proceed on a guided tour of combined
Old & New Delhi, Visiting such sights as Bahai Temple, Humayuns
Tomb (1586), India Gate, Akshardham temple, Lotus Temple
the Qutab Minar 72 meters high and one of the most perfect
towers in the Persian world. The Iron Pillar which has survived
the vagaries of weather for over 1500 years. Continue with a drive
through Embassy area, the Government Buildings (1921-1930)
and Connaught Place, the heart and main shopping district of the
capital. Afternoon we cross the city and into the walled gates
of the Old city with visits to the Jama Mosque (1650) and
drive through the fabled area of Chandni Chowk where the throngs
of shoppers and vendors meet in the oldest area of Delhi. Visit
the Red Fort (1639-1648 built by Shah Jehan the builder
of the Taj Mahal in Agra) to view the inlaid and carved Royal
Chambers, on to Raj Ghat and nearby ghats where the founder
of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi and thereafter Indira Gandhi and
Rajiv Gandhi were cremated. The highlight of this tour would be
a ride on cycle rickshaws. This is a remarkable way to
explore and picture the hustle and bustle as well as the colour
of the narrow winding streets bursting with people and pavement
shops selling wares of all description - including a laughing
set of dentures. The ride would be accompanied by peals of laughter
both from the passengers as well as the onlookers.
Return to the Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03. Delhi - Jaipur ( 255 Km, 05 hours)
After breakfast in the morning leave for Jaipur, En -route visit
"Neemrana Fort". This historic city was founded
by Maharaja Swai Jai Singh in 1727 AD after shifting his capital
from Amber valley to newly formed and planned city of its time
after consulting so many maps of the world and finally organized
own religious map Shilpa Shastra with the help of a young Bengali
architect Vidyadhar Batacharya. Maharaja Swai Jai Singh was a
builder, astronomer, astrologer, soldier, and philosopher. Presently,
Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan & is world famous as the
Pink City. Arrive and your first Stop will be at Amber Fort where
from elephants will carry you to the Fort, gives you the experience
and impression of how Maharajas & royal family members were
using the services of elephants. Drive ahead and check into your
hotel. Evening is for your leisure activities.
Overnight stay will be at Hotel.

Day 04. Jaipur
After breakfast in the morning at the hotel go for a half day
sightseeing of the beautiful historic Pink City. You will visit
City Palace, Museum, Astrological Observatory ( jantar mantar
), Hawa Mahal (wind palace), Ram Niwas Garden where from royal
ladies were watching daily processions and daily life. Evening
is for shopping in the busy streets and some excellent souvenir
shops.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05. Jaipur - Jodhpur ( 340 Kms, 07 hrs)
Early morning after breakfast at the hotel check out and drive
to Jodhpur.
Jodhpur - founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 AD after shifting
his capital from Mandore to Jodhpur by the advise of a holy man.
Arrive & check in at Hotel, evening visit Mehrangarh Fort
125 meters above plains, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant thada
and Sardar market clock tower.
Overnight stay is at Hotel.
Day 06. Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur ( 285 Km, 07 hours )
Breakfast and leave for Udaipur. Enroute visit 15th century Ranakpur
Jain Temple built in pure white marble with 80 doms supported
by 1444 different carved pillars. Continue your drive to Udaipur,
founded by Maharana Udai Singh in 1559 AD, ( Maha means great
& Rana means warrior, so Maharana means a great warrior ).
Udaipur is a beautiful city of lakes at the altitude of 577 MSL
surrounded by Aravalli Hills. Arrive and check in at for overnight
stay. The evening is for leisure activities and relaxation amidst
the sojourn surroundings.
Day 07. Udaipur - Delhi (Flight)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit City Palace, Jagdish temple
built in 1651 AD, Fatehsagar lake and Sahalion Ki Bari. Afternoon
enjoy boat ride in lake Pichola to visit Jagmandir Island. Enjoy
exciting cultural folk dances of Rajasthan at Meera Kala Mandir.
Return to Hotel for check out and transfer to the airport to take
your flight back to Delhi. Transfer to the International airport
and fly back to your country with the everlasting memories of
the magnificent glimpses of Incredible India.
